It’s one thing to say Fox News exists in a bubble separated from the normal flow of the space-time continuum, but it seems they’ve chartered a time machine for this weekend’s White House Correspondents Association Dinner.

At the annual circlejerkfête, which we’ve tried assiduously to avoid thinking about, Fox News will feature at its table Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian, two alliterative and played-out fameballs whom we like to think of about as often as we do the fancy dinner. Naturally, TMZ just about lost its shit over the scoop:

Kim and Lindsay were both invited by Fox News Channel and they will be face-to-face at the table … sources planning the event tell TMZ.

As for whether there are any grudges between the two — we’re told there are none. In fact, Kim has been supportive of Lindsay during her troubles and Lindsay attended Kim’s wedding. We’re told they are pretty close.

The big question — Will Kim and Lindsay meet Prez Obama? One source directly involved with the event tells us, “No way. The President almost never mingles with the guests.”

Then again … if Sasha and Malia demand a meet and greet …

Ugh. Wretch. Insert additional vomit-like sounds here. But Fox News will seem really cool on the Los Angeles party circuit circa 2007. And we now have two more reasons to avoid the Hinckley Hilton on Saturday night.
