As we wrote this morning, Marion Barry ended up in the hospital in Las Vegas after he suffered a blood clot on the way to a retailers convention there.

Much of Barry’s health scare was publicized via his Twitter account, including an apology to the very Filipino nurses he offended only weeks ago. This afternoon he got ever more personal, tweeting out pictures of himself with the nurse and doctor who treated him.

Let’s be honest: Barry and Twitter make for great partners.
