Amid depressing news of two federal indictments of campaign aides to Mayor Vince Gray this week, at least one person has a sense of humor, albeit a dark one. Former Capital City Diner owner Matt Ashburn quickly put together a website counting the days that the city goes without a federal indictment of some sort.

Needless to say, today it reset, thanks to the indictment of Gray campaign aide Howard Brooks. Earlier this week it was another Gray aide, Thomas Gore, that felt the federal sting.
