>> Few musicians have left a richer legacy than that of Frank Zappa. The gifted and relentlessly exploratory artist turned the music world on its ear with his quirky compositions. His eldest son, Dweezil, will celebrate Zappa, who succumbed to cancer in 1993, on Sunday at The Birchmere. The band, Zappa Plays Zappa, boasts a lineup of serious heavyweights. 7:30 p.m. $65 + fees.
