The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s summer Restaurant Week will begin August 13, with more than 200 area eateries enlisted to offer prix fixe, three-course meals. Just as in the last Restaurant Week in January, lunches will be priced at $20.12 and dinners at $35.12.
Once again, OpenTable.com is handling the bulk of the reservations, and you can see the full list of participating restaurants by following this link.
With 205 restaurants offering Restaurant Week meals—beverage, taxes and gratuities are not included in the listed prices—there is plenty to whet even the most finicky eater’s palate. At least one reader is already asking for our expert opinions on which offers to take advantage of:

While we’re gathering our gastronomical thoughts, we’ll offer this simple recommendation: Start making reservations soon. Though Restaurant Week takes place in the quiet dregs of summer, it’s still one of those things that gets booked up quickly.
