On a personal note, this is my 150th post (mostly Photos of the Day), and my last on DCist. I started doing PotD in July 2009, and three years later it is time to allow some new eyes to step in. I want to thank Heather for giving me the opportunity, editors past and present, and the good folks who pick the pictures the rest of the week. And, last but not least, I can’t tell you how grateful I am to the talented lot of photographers who add to our Flickr pool daily, many of whom I am lucky to call friends.
