Bethesda honored the three hometown Olympians who competed in London with a “Welcome Home” party Friday night outside the Bethesda Metro Center.

WTOP reports that 200 people attended the event celebrating rhythmic gymnastic Julie Zetlin, kayaker Scott Parsons and, of course, Katie Ledecky, the 15-year-old who won the gold medal in the women’s 800-meter freestyle race.
