It may feel like D.C. is the worst city for allergies for many folks, but a report counters that notion. “The newest report released by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America shows that DC didn’t even make the top ten list for Fall Allergy Capitals this year. In fact, this year we rank 82nd in worst cities for fall allergies, which is 17 spots below last year’s ranking.” [Washingtonian]

A D.C. teacher admitted Friday that he sent a “lewd” Facebook message to a student. “Brookland officials referred questions to DCPS on Friday. Salmanowitz said the school sent parents a message with full details Friday after Turner’s guilty plea. But some parents said they were upset that they weren’t told when police first became involved.” [The Post]
