The Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals will play the potentially deciding game of the National League Division Series late Thursday afternoon, Major League Baseball announced today.

Game 4 is tentatively scheduled to begin at 4:07 p.m., a more accommodating time than the 1:07 start for Game 3 tomorrow that will surely screw up everyone’s workday. But, it’s quite possible that Thursday’s game will be pushed back an hour, assuming the American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics ends before needing a fifth game. The Tigers are up 2-0 on the Athletics, with the series headed to Oakland for Game 3 tonight.

The other game scheduled for Thursday is Game 4 of the series between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles. Once again, MLB decided to give the ratings-driving Yankees the primetime slot with either a 7:37 or 8:37 p.m. starting time. But that also guarantees that the Yankees and Orioles will bump up against the vice-presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. Watch that instead of the Yankees.

Game 4 of the Nationals-Cardinals series will be broadcast on TBS. If you’re going to the game, Thursday’s forecasted calls for clear skies and a high temperature of 62 degrees. Perfect weather for fall baseball.
