According to Metro’s PlanItMetro blog, rail ridership is up two percent over 2008 levels. The majority of that growth, though, comes from from increases along the Green Line. While the NoMa-Gallaudet U Red Line station led in ridership growth over the last five years—it increased by 3,363—six of the top 10 stations in terms of increases were along the Green Line, starting with Columbia Heights in the number two spot, at 2,676.
