BEER: This evening ChurchKey (1337 14th Street NW) presents its second installment of Ales from the Dark Side, featuring no fewer than 20 special brews, like Great Lakes Blackout Stout, De Molen Kopi Loewak (made with Civet cat coffee), Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, and more. 6:00 p.m. The beers will be served in 4 ounce pours and priced individually.

COMEDY: The DC Improv Comedy Club brings local comedians Brian Parise, Courtney Fearrington, and Jimmy Merritt to the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW) tonight. While this event is free, tickets are required and will be distributed (limit 2 per person) in the States Gallery/Roof Terrace Level starting at 5:00 p.m. Show starts at 6:00 p.m.

MOVIE: Earlier this month we discussed our favorite Bond films in advance of the latest installation of the series: Skyfall. Rate for yourself how the new flick compares to the earlier films at a screening at Uptown Theater (3426 Connecticut Avenue NW) tonight. 7:45 p.m. $11.

FRIDAY: Since it’s after Thanksgiving (though only one day after), we guess it’s okay that the National Zoo (3001 Connecticut Avenue NW) is kicking off it’s annual holiday lights show, Zoolights, this Friday. 5:00-9:00 p.m. Free.
