Washington’s office workers can’t get enough food trucks, and now there’s another tool by which people looking for a mobile lunch can find their spot. John Jones, a smartphone app developer, launched today a new iOS program called TruckToMe.

The app, which is a free download, maps a few dozen of D.C.’s fleet of food trucks as they position themselves in the usual spots—Franklin and Farragut squares, Union Station, L’Enfant Plaza and Rosslyn—and presents each truck’s most recent tweet.

So far, TruckToMe’s initial list of trucks isn’t as comprehensive as competitors like Food Truck Fiesta or Washingtonian’s daily listing of food truck deployments, but the interface is clean and the app launches its directory of mobile vendors fairly speedily.

For now, TruckToMe is only available on devices running Apple’s iOS. No word if a version for Android-based phones is planned.
