CRAFTING: Craft something cool while you drink craft beers, listen to live music, and later participate in an art scavenger hunt at Renwick Gallery’s (1661 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) Craft Futures Handi-hour this evening. 5:30 p.m. $20, cash only, at the door (includes two drinks, snacks, and craft supplies).

ART: Take part in a champagne tasting (a preview of the upcoming Sugar and Champagne Affair), then tour art pieces that “celebrate D.C., politics, and all things presidential,” in honor of the recent inauguration at tonight’s Corcoran Uncorked (500 Seventeenth Street NW). 7:00 p.m. $15 (includes one drink ticket).

MUSIC: Jerseyband brings a “hardcore metal vocalist” backed by a horn section, drums, electric guitar, and guitar synth to the Atlas (1333 H Street NE) stage tonight. Unfortunately, the show is sold out, but try your luck at the box office (202-399-7993) just in case. 8:00 p.m.

THEATER: Gather round the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW) this evening to watch the Striking Viking Story Pirates act out “five election-themed stories written by local students.” 6:00 p.m. Free.
