If you looked up into the sky yesterday at dusk, you just may have seen Comet Pan-STARRS without even realizing it. A thin crescent moon and clear sky helped make the comet visible to the naked eye; up until this point, stargazers have been struggling with weather conditions and the comet’s location relative to the horizon to see it.
