So, here’s what happened yesterday evening in Beltsville, Md. A group of Prince George’s County firefighters stopped off for a bite to eat. When they returned to their truck, they saw a naked man climbing the aerial ladder.

OK, let’s back this up. Prince George’s Police yesterday arrested a man suspected of shooting another man inside a car on Beltsville Drive. Mohamed Sulaiman Bah, a 24-year-old Silver Spring resident, is accused in a shooting that took place about 6 p.m. in Beltsville. Officers responding to a report of a car accident arrived to find the victim in the back seat with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Bah, then, allegedly fled the scene and proceeded toward the nearby Calverton Shopping Center, where he encountered the fire truck. At some point before climbing the vehicle, police say, Bah removed his clothes. When officers attempted to talk him down, he refused several orders and stayed up there, behaving in a belligerent manner. He finally climbed down, at which point an officer stunned him with a Taser.

A passer-by caught the tail end of the scene, in which Bah descends from the ladder and is finally subdued. No, it’s probably not safe to watch at work.

Police say Bah was high on PCP at the time of his arrest. He is charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, and other related charges, police said.
