Eulalio Tordil (Courtesy of PGPD)The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking a man who they say shot and killed his wife, and injured a bystander, in the parking lot of a Beltsville high school this afternoon.
PGPD identified the suspect as 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil, an employee of the Federal Protective Service (the law enforcement division of the Department of Homeland Security).
According to a preliminary police account, Tordil followed his estranged wife, Gladys, as she came to pick up her children from High Point High School at 4:40 p.m. A bystander attempted to intervene after Tordil confronted Gladys, while she sat in her car. Tordil shot the man, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, before turning the gun on his wife and shooting her multiple times. When police arrived, they found Gladys dead, still in her car.
Eulalio Tordil remains at large.
