Minnesota slowcore stalwarts Low come to Sixth & I Synagouge with their tenth album, The Invisible Way, in tow. Produced by Wilco‘s Jeff Tweedy, Way finds the band rehashing their familiar aesthetic in new and refreshing ways. Singer-songwriter Mike Doughty opens. $33, 8 p.m.

Ten years ago Death Cab for Cutie front man Ben Gibbard started exchanging song ideas with Dntel‘s Jimmy Tamborello. Ten songs eventually became the band’s debut and only full-length album, Give Up. To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the release, the band has decided to get back together for another tour, but don’t expect another album anytime soon. Syracuse indie pop band Ra Ra Riot shares the bill at Merriweather Post Pavilion. $35-45, 6 p.m.

Sort of, kind of D.C. band Lemuria looks to finally get its big break with their third full-length, The Distance Is So Big. Alabama surf-weird-psych-whatever band Man…Or Astro Man? returns to the Black Cat with yet another release. The band, who never seems to leave the road, has brought along Miami’s Jacuzzi Boys to open the show. $15, 8 p.m.
