From noon to 7 p.m. today, Haven Pizzeria (7137 Wisconsin Boulevard) is giving away one free cheese pizza to each person who dines in or carries out.
“Nothing beats carefully-prepared, authentic pizza…except free carefully-prepared, authentic pizza, so we hope you’ll stop by and enjoy a pie on us,” the press release wants you to know.
As the name implies, this pizza is New Haven-style. That means it has a thin crust and is cooked in a coal oven. It’s also free today, so who cares.
