Monday’s Nationals game against the Braves has been cancelled in the wake of the Navy Yard shooting.

According to a tweet from Nationals PR, the game “has been postponed and will be made up as split doubleheader” tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m.

“All of us here in the Nationals organization were deeply saddened to learn of the tragic events that occurred this morning only a few blocks from Nationals Park,” the team said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.”

Nationals Park is located just blocks from the Navy Yard and NAVSEA headquarters, where at least 12 people, including a shooter, were killed this morning. The parking lot of the stadium is being used as a meeting point for family members “to meet their loved ones” who work at NAVSEA.

NAVSEA said in a tweet that all employees are still on lockdown.
