The Wu-Tang Clan
Bummed that Rock the Bells was canceled? Blown about missing Shaolin masters Wu-Tang Clan? Well, don’t fret, members of the Wu will still be performing at LivingSocial’s 918 F Street space tomorrow night.
The famed New York hip-hop crew was booked to perform a special after show at the LivingSocial performance space, and despite Rock the Bells being canned, they’ll still be playing.
Method Man, Inspectah Deck, and other members of the Wu will take the stage at 11 p.m., and there will be a special VIP meet-and-greet with the group before the show at 10 p.m. The general admission tickets ain’t cheap though—$99—but you can snag those here while they’re still around.
Also scheduled for the canceled Rock the Bells show was an exclusive performance by a holographic ‘Ol Dirty Bastard. No word from LivingSocial on if Holo-ODB will be making an appearance tomorrow night. One can only hope.
Update: A LivingSocial spokesperson tells DCist that they “don’t anticipate the ODB hologram,” but Method Man, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, DJ Allah Mathematics, Cappadona, and Masta Killah will.
There will be an exclusive after party with DJ Math, following the Wu. Protect ya neck, y’all.
