THEATER: Washington Improv Theater presents Die! Die! Die!, ” an improvised slasher movie (a la Friday the 13th) where a new killer is revealed every night.” The production runs tonight through October 12th at Source (1835 14th Street NW). $12 in advance, $15 at the door, $30 for the front two rows.
FARM FUNDRAISER: Spend “A Night on the Farm…Without Leaving the City” at Common Good City Farm’s (V Street NW, between 2nd and 4th Streets) annual fundraising event tonight. There will be farm-fresh food, workshops on urban gardening, live music, and more. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets: $50 (or higher if you become a sponsor).
ART: The (E)merge Art Fair, which will be featuring “80 exhibitors presenting works by 150 artists from 30 countries,” kicks off this evening at the Capitol Skyline Hotel (10 I Street SW) with an Opening Preview Party (7-9 p.m.) and a concert by the pool (9:00-11:00 p.m.) with Maimouna Youssef and John Thornley of U.S. Royalty DJing. Tickets: $35 advance purchase, $50 at the door. The fair runs through this Sunday.
