Fall is finally here. And while it’s come in with quite a bit of rain, the weather will eventually dry up (hopefully!) and the leaves on the city’s many trees will begin to change color.
Casey Trees has created a map of color-coded routes, showing where to see the changing leaves on red and sugar maples, ginkgo bilobas, pin oaks and American elms. Each description shows the length of the route, how many trees are on the route and what colors you should expect to see. From Casey Trees:
We’d love to see how the trees are changing in real-time, too, so if you happen to be walking, biking or driving down one of these streets in the weeks or months to come, snap a photo and tweet it at us [@CaseyTrees]. Be sure to tag your location or write it in the post so we can tell where it was taken.
