Not the actual bionic man that will be in D.C. tomorrow. That will be much more terrifying. Via Shutterstock.
While the fox and other wildlife that has overtaken the White House kitchen garden due to the shutdown may sound a little post-apocalyptic, that’s nothing compared to this: Tomorrow, a bionic “man” will take the streets of D.C. tomorrow.
Yes, you read that right: Bionic. Man.
According to a press release, the world’s first complete bionic man will be walking around outside near the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum tomorrow at 10 a.m. The terrifyingly awesome robot will be on display at the Air and Space museum when it reopens after the shutdown and is the subject of a new documentary:
Smithsonian Channel is the exclusive U.S. television home for the behind-the-scenes story of the worlds first real Bionic Man–a robot built entirely from bionic body parts and implantable synthetic organs–complete with a functioning circulatory system. The result of billions of dollars of research and featuring components borrowed from some of the worlds leading medical innovators, THE INCREDIBLE BIONIC MAN shows how far we’ve come in efforts to simulate the human body.
“A robot built entirely from bionic body parts and implantable synthetic organs–complete with a functioning circulatory system.” Judgement day is coming, y’all.
