A 10-screen movie theater is coming to NoMa. The even better news? It’s a Landmark.
The theater will be located at New York Avenue and N Street NE in JBG’s Capitol Point development and is expected to open in fall of 2016. Here are the details, via Urban Turf:
The theater will occupy 31,000 square feet at the mixed-use project, and include a full-‐service bar, luxury seats, reserved seat selection, and 3-D projection.
“We are dedicated to increasing our footprint in the Washington, D.C. market,” Ted Mundorff, CEO and president of Landmark Theatres, said in a release. “Capitol Point in NoMa is a perfect location to serve not only NoMa but the underserved Capitol Hill area.”
Landmark Theatres already owns locations on E Street NW and in Bethesda, Md.
