Earlier today, Metropolitan Police arrested 36-year-old Michael Anthony Coleman in connection to a fatal stabbing that occurred last Friday near a Georgia Avenue strip club, Macombo Lounge.

According to MPD reports, police said they receive a call just after 2 a.m. on Friday, November 15 to respond to a stabbing in 5300 block of Georgia Avenue. A man and a woman were transported to a local hospital, suffering from stab wounds. The woman, 40-year-old Candance Reed, who is a former dancer at the club, was later pronounced dead.

WJLA reports that Coleman is being charged with second-degree murder while armed.
