One day after it was seized by the city, the Stadium Club is free to reopen as its owner’s tax debt has been paid.
A release from the Office of Tax and Revenue reports that the the tax debt for TruOrleans, owned by James Redding, has been paid. Stadium Club was seized because of the unpaid taxes on Redding’s now shuttered H Street NE restaurant.
As Young & Hungry reported, the club was in the process of being sold when it was seized yesterday. Stay tuned for more details on Stadium Club’s future.

$61,000 of the roughly $150,000 collected by the Office of Tax and Revenue was paid in $1 bills, sources tell the Washington Business Journal.
