Hey look! The Capitol Christmas tree has arrived.

The Engelmann spruce arrived this morning to the West front of the Capitol from the Colville National Forest in Washington state. It made 22 stops before arriving in this Washington.

The tree will be decorated in ornaments that reflect the theme, “Sharing Washington’s Good Nature,” according to a release. Note: That’s not our good nature, but the state’s. It will be lit by Speaker of the House John Boehner on December 3 at 5 p.m. It will be illuminated from night fall until 11 p.m. each day until January 1, 2014.
