As a result of the federal government shutdown, a fox took up residence in a White House garden and was subsequently spotted around time, having a grand time eating squirrels and being photographed by onlookers.
Roll Call’s Heard on the Hill blog has been documenting the movements of another local Vulpes vulpes, dubbed the Capitol Hill Fox. And this weekend, the creature put on a show on the Capitol lawn.

@WARojas Yep. At about a quarter to five. He put on a helluva show for the tourists in the area; An old fashioned safari-style kill.

There’s even a map to track the Capitol Hill Fox. And, of course, a parody Twitter account.

Now, I don’t want to blow your mind here, but could the Shutdown Fox and the Capitol Hill Fox be … the same fox? I’ll leave you with that thought.
