A tipster wrote in to DCist to let us know that “its cold in dc.” And boy is that person right! The city is once again experiencing highs in the mid-20s, and it’s only going to warm up a bit this weekend.

As the Capital Weather Gang reports, D.C. is expecting a second blast of frigid air next week. According to the National Weather Service, it will be a relatively tropical 36 degrees on Monday before the mercury plummets back to 19 degrees on Tuesday. It may even snow again this Saturday. What is it — winter or something?

Yes, it is winter. But as CWG’s A. Camden Walker wrote: “This time of year we expect to be cold, but not really this much colder than average for such a lengthy period.” Stay warm! Keep complaining!
