The D.C. man arrested for allegedly stealing Margo the Cockapoo from a Northeast D.C. home was also charged with seven other home burglaries.

According to a release from the Metropolitan Police Department, 19-year-old Reshawn Devonta Peay was charged with burglarizing eight Northeast D.C. homes between December 3 and January 23, when Margo was taken from her home in Kingman Park. Police received a tip that led to Margo’s safe return.

MPD is investigating Peay’s possible involvement in similar offenses and is asking anyone with information to call 202-727-9099.
