Photo by John SondermanTHEATRE: The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW) presents White Rabbit, Red Rabbit, a “play written by Iranian playwright held in isolation Nassim Soleimanpour, which involves audience volunteers and requires one actor who has never seen the script to impersonate characters, read, and ad lib the story of a rabbit that attends the circus without a ticket.” Free, but tickets required. Tickets will be distributed at 5:30 p.m. in the States Gallery, and the show begins at 6 p.m.
MOVIES: Prepare for the Oscars at E Street Cinema (555 11th Street NW), which is showing Oscar-nominated animated short films, live action short films, and full length films (including Her, Dallas Buyers Club, and Inside Llewyn Davis).
FOOD & DRINK: D.C.’s 5th Annual Meat-Free Week kicks off tonight with a BBQ at Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats (1370 Park Road NW). They’ll be serving up BBQ seitan, slaw, corn bread, and string bean casserole paired with half-priced beer and wine. $15.

This Tuesday the Capital City Showcase will lob some zingers at the coach (represented by comedian stand-in Adam Friedland) at The DMV Roast of Daniel Snyder at The Brixton (901 U Street NW). 8 p.m. Free.
WEDNESDAY: The 6th Annual H Street Karaoke Cup—hosted by Little Miss Whiskey’s, Sticky Rice, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Hotel—kicks off this Wednesday with the first qualifying round at Little Miss Whiskey’s (1104 H Street NE). Anyone may enter, and qualifiers will go on to the final championship battle on February 27th at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hotel. 9 p.m. Free.
THURSDAY: The 3rd Annual ReelAbilities: Greater DC Disabilities Film Festival begins this Thursday and continues through February 13. The festival is “dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities.” Opening night will feature a screening of Come As You Are at Spectrum Theatre. FRIDAY: Mari Vanna (1141 Connecticut Avenue NW) will be bringing a taste of Sochi to D.C. for the Winter Olympics. Stop by on Friday, February 7 from 6-9 p.m. to toast the opening ceremonies with a free shot of vodka and pirozhki during their Olympics happy hour.
