ART PARTY: Tonight’s Corcoran Uncorked: Hitchcock Evening will feature screenings of classic Hitchcock films (The Birds and Rear Window), crafting a screen print of a vintage movie poster, and touring Corcoran exhibits (500 Seventeenth Street NW). Tickets are no longer available online, but will be available at the door, space permitting. 5-9 p.m. $12.
FOOD & DRINK: Flying Dog Ales and Pizza Paradiso’s Georgetown location (3282 M Street NW) team up for the Mango Habanero IPA DC Launch this evening. Flying Dog beers featured at the event will include the Mango Habanero IPA (of course), St. Eadman (which has been aged a year and may be the last in existence), Barrel Aged Gonzo, Cinnamon Porter, and Pale Ale. Pair these up with a special pizza: “The Eck Your Heart Out,” which consists of a roasted garlic habanero onion sauce topped with prosciutto de Parma, mozzarella, red pepper, fresh mango, pickled mango, and Sal de Fruta. 5-10 p.m.
DANCE: The Krasnoyarsk National Dance Company of Siberia brings “a world of cultures” to the Music Center at Strathmore (5301 Tuckerman Lane North Bethesda, MD) stage this evening. Get ready for 50 dancers performing 14 dances, “from leaping, twirling Cossack soldiers to brightly clad peasant dances drawn from centuries of tradition.” 8 p.m. $29-$70.
