Mayor Vincent Gray will deliver the State of the District Address on March 3 at a Ward 7 middle school.

Gray will deliver the address at Kelly Miller Middle School, 301 49th Street NE, at 7 p.m. In an advisory about the speech, Kelly is touted as “an example of the tremendous gains that are being made by DCPS students at schools across the city.”

In last year’s address, Gray notably pledged $100 million to affordable housing. He also hailed D.C. as a “big-league city” that runs the risk of “becoming a city of only ‘haves.'” Expect both of those topics to be discussed again, along with the growing homelessness crisis.
