Mayor Bowser Had Some Requests For Trump and Congress At Her State Of The District Address
Bowser also announced that she plans to add $10 million in this year’s budget for affordable housing preservation and pledged to fix all the city’s roads within five years.
Between now and June, the city “will identify and lease at least 500 apartments for homeless families using either Rapid Re-Housing or Permanent Supportive Housing vouchers.”
