Rejoice, Washingtonians. Our snow nightmare is over. As of 9:30 a.m., D.C. is no longer under a snow emergency.

So, feel free to once again park along designated “snow emergency route” locations throughout the city without risk of being fined or towed. But, if you were one of the unlucky people who forgot to move their vehicle during the snow emergency, then chances are you’re wondering where your car is. Luckily, the D.C. government website has this app that allows you to locate where your vehicle has been towed to.

If you’re currently reading this and saying to yourself “Oh, great, now I can find out where my car is!” Lesson learned: don’t park along a snow emergency route during a snow storm.

Although the snow emergency has been lifted, a cold emergency will be activated tonight, as temperatures are expected to drop into single digits. As such, shelters and warming sites will re-activate tonight at 9 p.m. Tonight, the Shelter Hotline is transporting, and if you see a homeless person out on the street you can request help by calling the hotline at 1-800-535-7252 or 311, or emailing uposh@upo.org.
