Noted half-smoke lover Bill Cosby plans to haunt the new Rosslyn location of Ben’s Chili Bowl after he’s buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Eater, the Post and Going Out Guide picked up on this comment as Cosby helped open the Virginia outpost of the U Street landmark this morning.

I want my body buried not far, so my ghost can get up, make the trip here instead of flying all the way over to U Street.

I will bring with me many famous and non-famous military ghosts.

I will be eating with them, and we will be having a good time. Because in that cemetery that’s no cholesterol, there’s no triglycerides. Eat as many as you like. Double down on the cheese and the fries. A lot of people may not go to heaven, because this is heaven.

Cosby, as all of you must know, was the star of the very upsetting 1990 film Ghost Dad, in which he played a ghost who is also a dad. I smell a sequel — and it smells like chili.
