A man found in a car involved in an accident on the 900 block of Madison Street NW was shot beforehand, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
At approximately 7:51 p.m. yesterday, police respond to a call regarding a vehicular accident and, upon arrival, found a man inside suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest, a release says. The Post reports the car hit several parked vehicles and the man was in the backseat.
The man was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
Preliminary investigations found that the victim was shot a few blocks away, in the 1200 block of Madison Street NW. The victim has yet to be identified and police are offering a $25,000 reward for anyone that has information that leads to an arrest.
