Last week, an unidentified man was found fatally shot in a car involved in an accident on the 900 block of Madison Street NW. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department arrested 20-year-old Corey Saxton of Northwest D.C. this morning in connection to the murder of the victim, who has been identified as 24-year-old Roshaine Henry, a release states.

Police responded to a call regarding a vehicular accident on Wednesday, March 5 and, upon arrival, found Henry inside suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. A comprehensive investigation found that Henry was actually shot on the 1200 block of Madison Street, NW. It’s unclear if Henry was driving the car that he was found in.

Saxton was arrested early this morning by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and is being charged with second degree murder while armed.
