As of 12:57 p.m. it officially became spring, and yes, the weather is appropriately balmy and spring-like. Which is nice, considering how rough of a winter it’s been. Enjoy it because winter isn’t through with us quite yet.

DCist spoke to a meteorologist at the National Weather Service about next week’s forecast and—lo and behold—it might snow again! Next Tuesday, there’s a 50 percent chance of precipitation, which can either be rain or snow (or both), but with high temperatures reaching 42 degrees, it’ll likely be snow. As the temperatures drop Tuesday evening, the chance of just snow, instead of rain or snow, is more likely, hovering around 40 percent.

Spring is canceled, winter is forever. Deal with it.
