Potholepalooza—the city’s annual 30-day campaign to repair as many potholes in the city as possible—was scheduled to kick off on March 20th, but thanks to the Snow Patrick’s Day storm, was delayed. And guess what? It’s going to get delayed again, thanks to the Winter That Never Ends.

After the March 20th kick-off date was delayed, Potholepalooza was rescheduled to begin tomorrow, March 24th, but with more snow expected, it’s been delayed yet again. District Department of Transportation spokesman Reggie Sanders says that a new date to kick-off Poteholepalooza has not been decided yet. But who knows if it will ever happen because who knows if winter will ever end.

The current forecast for tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service, is a 90 percent chance of snow before 5 p.m., with a predicted accumulation of one to two inches. After 5 p.m., it’s looking like a mix of rain and snow for the rest of the night.

Update: Just a reminder that potholes are filled every day in all quadrants of the city. Potholepalooza is month-long campaign to reduce the time it takes for a reported pothole to get repaired from 72 hours to 48 hours. So far this year, DDOT has repaired 18,500 potholes across the city, Sanders says.
