TRIVIA: Pair Texas beer with trivia at Ventnor Sports Cafe (2411 18th Street NW) tonight. Spoetzl Brewery will be serving up seven brews, including “their flagship Shiner Bock,” and Say Know to Trivia will be asking the hard questions. The taps start flowing at 6 p.m., the trivia starts at 8 p.m.

DANCE: Learn how to shake those hips at a belly dance lesson and performance from Mavi at the Anacostia Arts Center (1231 Good Hope Road SE) this evening. This event is part of the center’s continuing Eclectic Tuesdays series. 7:30-9 p.m. Free.

BENEFIT: Head to District 2 Bar and Grille (3238 Wisconsin Avenue NW) this evening for the JT3 Art Benefit Happy Hour and Trivia Night. There will be music, movie trivia, and drink specials, with proceeds going to “JT3’s Artist Awards Program, a competition for emerging screenwriters and directors, ages 18 to 34, who reside in New York City or the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.” 6 p.m.

MUSIC: Hip-Hop in the Pocket, featuring Rhome Anderson, One Mic Creative Ecosystem, and Pure Perfection Band and Show, comes to the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW) this evening. 6 p.m. Free.
