Here’s a quick update on Instacart, the same-hour grocery delivery service that travels to every corner of D.C., as well as parts of Virginia and Maryland: They have added Yes! Organic Market and Safeway.

Since launching in February, Instacart “has grown its user base by 15 times,” according to a release, and now delivers food from Costco, Harris Teeter, Safeway, Whole Foods and Yes!.

Yes! Organic has six locations in D.C., including one in Maryland. A location in Fairlawn opened in 2010 and closed two years later after suffering a financial loss. It was replaced by the more traditional grocery store, Fairlawn Market, which is also shutting down.
