April 24th, Casey Trees has your perfect Thursday night covered. Our inaugural Canopy Awards, happening at Dock5 @ Union Market, isn’t your typical fundraiser. With great food (including a Shake Shack pop-up and Buffalo & Bergen sodas), an open bar, games (including bocce and an 8-hole putt putt course) and two photo booths, we’re celebrating the volunteers, friends and advocates who support our work promoting, enhancing and protecting D.C.’s tree canopy with a festive night of fun.

If all that isn’t enough of a draw, we’ve also got two great bands on deck. The Bumper Jones, purveyors of country swing, roots jazz and street blues, take the stage first, and then Andrew Lipke and the Azreal String Quartet will close out the evening.
