PARIS IN D.C.: Georgetown’s 11th Annual French Market returned to Book Hill today and runs through tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. “The two-day event will bring a piece of Paris to the heart of D.C., featuring fashion finds from local boutiques, traditional French fare, quaint home and antique shops, and live music by Laissez Foure and Yammomonem Jazz. Guests will enjoy festive entertainment, from an accordionist to unicyclists and mimes, all outfitted in French-inspired attire.”
ANNIVERSARY: Celebrate the 75th anniversary of The Grapes of Wrath with the National Steinbeck Center at NPR Headquarters (1111 North Capitol Street NE). “Playwright Octavio Solis, visual artist Patricia Wakida and filmmaker P.J. Palmer embarked on the journey along Route 66 taking them through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.” 7-9 p.m. $5.
MOVIE: Union Market (1309 5th Street NE) hosts Frozen tonight as part of its drive-in series. Parking tickets are sold out, but you can show up for free without a car. Singing is encouraged. 6 p.m.

FESTIVAL: The Fifth Annual Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival will begin at 1 p.m. and “features two main stages of bluegrass and americana music with returning headliners The Hackensaw Boys and more. The festival will celebrate local music, food, and culture as well as the revitalization of the Anacostia River.” Tickets $10-$30.
FOOD & DRINK: The Maryland Bacon Festival comes to Baltimore’s Rash Field (201 Key Highway) on April 26th and boasts 30 plus vendors and food trucks, bacon-themed cocktails, and cooking demos. Tickets $25-$650. —Ashley Wetzel
MORE FOOD: The 2nd Annual Crawfish for Cancer DC Crawfish Boil will be held Saturday at Yards Park (355 Water Street SE). The event kicks off at 2 p.m. and features a five hour open bar in addition to unlimited crawfish, corn and potatoes. Live bands, bocce, and cornhole will all be on-hand for your entertainment. Tickets can be purchased for $80, and proceeds benefit the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. —Ashley Wetzel
MOVIES: These are the end times … for the Hirshhorn’s exhibit Damage Control: Art and Destruction Since 1950. To help send off this exhibit, the Hirshhorn brings you Disasterthon!, an all-day program (from DVD, I presume) of disaster movies including The Host, the 2005 War of the Worlds, Sharknado, 28 Days Later, and a 35mm print of Dr. Strangelove. The museum leads their doomsday programming with its least known title, director Steve De Jarnatt’s romantic apocalypse, Miracle Mile. Noon to midnight at the Hirshhorn (700 Independence Avenue SW). Free.

CRAWL: The old school hip-hop bar crawl is back, and begins at 2 p.m. at Duffy’s (2106 Vermont Avenue NW) and travel down U Street. All bars will feature a DJ plus food and drink specials. $10 wristband.
