A driver crashed into a bus stop and struck a pedestrian this morning, Metropolitan Police Department says.

According to an MPD public information officer, authorities received a call for an automotive accident at a approximately 9:26 a.m., wherein the driver crashed into a bus stop at the intersection of 7th Street and F Street NW, right by the Verizon Center in Chinatown. A woman was struck at the bus stop and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
