Councilmember Tommy Wells will hold a public meeting tomorrow following the violent robberies of three women in Capitol Hill and NoMa.
Two women were robbed while a knife was pressed against their necks near Eastern Market. A third woman was similarly attacked near the NoMa Metro station. Police released a video of a person of interest in the first case, which occurred on May 15.
The meeting with the Metropolitan Police Department will begin Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Avenue SE).
