Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual as part of the investigation of the robbery and murder of James Oh.

On July 4, a corner store on the 5500 block of Colorado Avenue NW was robbed at approximately 5:20 p.m. The store’s owner, 76-year-old James Oh, was beaten during the robbery and sustained head trauma. He later died of his injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation and are looking to identify a person captured on video at Oh’s establishment approximately two hours prior to the incident. Police didn’t say whether the individual is a suspect or a person of interest, but the Post reports that the man shown in the video is one of the two suspects in the robbery and murder of Oh.
