A 19-year-old prisoner awaiting trial at the D.C. Superior Court today was found with a loaded handgun tucked into his underwear, WUSA9 reports.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, the loaded handgun was found on the prisoner earlier this morning tucked into his underwear at the D.C. Superior Court. The 19-year-old, who was awaited trial on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, was rearrested and is being detained by the Metropolitan Police Department.

According to MPD spokesperson Gwendolyn Crump, “each agency conducted a search of the defendant and at this point it is unknown when/where the weapon came into the defendant’s possession.”
