The Foo Fighters’ slow takeover of D.C. continues. This morning, the Foos announced their 20th anniversary concert and, well, it’s damn impressive.

In true patriotic fashion, the Foos will take over RFK Stadium for an all-day anniversary festival featuring a smattering of modern American music legends: Buddy Guy, D.C. go-go legends Trouble Funk, Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, LL Cool J, Gary Clarke Jr., and Trombone Shorty.

Foos frontman Dave Grohl, a Northern Virginia native, recently brought his band to two of D.C.’s smaller venues—Black Cat and 9:30 Club—and most recently featured the impact of D.C. on his life in an episode of his new HBO show Sonic Highways. It’s good to know Grohl still has a lot of D.C. pride.

And because America, there will be a motorcycle rally, barbecue, and fireworks, of course. Tickets ain’t cheap though: $75. They go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.

Anyway, here’s “Learn to Fly:”
