T-shirts today, this on Wednesday. Just be down. Via Shutterstock.
If you see people walking around in t-shirts today, they’re not crazy. The high on this balmy, unseasonably warm November day is expected to float somewhere between 70 and 75 degrees fahrenheit, which Capital Weather Gang says threatens as “record highs.”
But don’t pack up that winter coat for the week. A mere two days later, we’re looking at rain with a favorable chance of it turning it snow as an East Coast storm develops. The temperature will drop down to the the mid-30s (with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s), as a storm front rolls in that CWG says will bring rain that will “likely [mix] with and [change] to snow from northwest to southeast” in the early-to-mid afternoon. How much snow, you ask? Between one and 14 inches, depending on who you ask at any given hour.
The cold temperatures will remain on Thanksgiving day with the chance of “a few flurries or snow showers early.”
Go home weather, you’re drunk.
